What is Quarter Midget Racing?

Quarter midget racing is a form of youth motorsports designed for kids, ages 5-17. The cars are smaller, speeds are age-appropriate, and safety is the top priority.

Drivers compete on paved & dirt oval tracks while learning racecraft, discipline, and teamwork.

Drivers also enjoy a rich social environment including experiences with children their age both on and off the track.

And of course, as with all youth motorsports, quarter midget racing also provides hands-on STEM learning, enriching children’s lives far beyond race day.

Included in the Arrive & Drive experience:

  • Up to 20 laps on track in an actual QM race car.

  • Safety equipment and car provided for your child. Just bring closed-toed shoes.

  • Hands-on guidance from our experienced leadership team.

Is quarter midget racing safe?

Perhaps one of the best parts of quarter midget racing is that it is widely considered one of the safest kids’ sports!

Unlike other kids’ sports, even a minor injury is extremely rare.

This is due to mandatory safety standards and equipment, strict rules, extensive training, and rigorous inspections.

With this structured environment –– including on-site EMTs –– quarter midget racing is exceptionally safe for kids and their families.
